Lamborghini launched this Monday, July 15, 2026, a highly customized version of its new supercar, the Temerario, during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Named “Temerario Ad Personam”, the 920 horsepower model combines cutting-edge engineering with the sophistication of high-end Italian tailoring, presenting itself as a true “wool suit” on wheels. This new line underlines the brand’s ability to create vehicles that are an extension of their owners’ individuality, going beyond mere performance.
Fusion of performance and Italian tailoring redefines luxury
The Temerario Ad Personam is the result of Lamborghini’s customization division, “Ad Personam”, and represents the fusion of high-quality Italian craftsmanship, luxury fashion and the most modern automotive performance. This concept transforms the supercar into a style statement, where every detail reflects exclusivity and passion for the art of bespoke customization. The project was born from a close collaboration between Ad Personam and Centro Stile Lamborghini, the brand’s design center.
Exclusive details: designs inspired by haute couture
Inspiration from the world of luxury tailoring is manifested on the exterior of the vehicle through precise graphic lines. These lines are designed to imitate automotive design sketches, accentuating the Temerario’s imposing proportions. Inside, a first for Lamborghini production vehicles, details in “Jessart” have been incorporated, a striped material that adds a sophisticated texture and pattern. This combination of premium leather and carbon fiber maintains the model’s sporty character, while expressing a harmonious dialogue between artisanal design and high-performance engineering.
Two versions reveal unique customization options
The two cars presented at Goodwood serve as showcases for the wide customization possibilities that Lamborghini offers. Each of them displays a distinct approach to combining colors and finishes:
- First model:It features a “Grigio Crater Matt” matte finish, which is elegantly combined with the contrasting “Grigio Artis” color. The objective of this palette is to highlight the sculptural beauty of Temerario with an aesthetic of discretion and refinement.
- Second model:It is based on the color “Celeste Fedra” and incorporates details in “Bianco Phanes”. This design was inspired by technical illustrations and contemporary fashion trends. The inclusion of the lightweight, matte “Alleggerita” package further emphasizes the vehicle’s agile, lightweight appearance.
Interior innovations with virgin wool and ultralight fabrics
The Temerario Ad Personam cabin is a space that celebrates traditional Italian tailoring techniques. The exclusive “Jessato” stripes that adorn the door panels and headliner are crafted from virgin wool, an unprecedented innovation for a Lamborghini. This design features fine silver stripes on a black background, reinterpreting classic sartorial rules for supercar dynamism. Wool, renowned for its breathability and superior feel, adds warmth and visual depth to a cockpit that combines digital displays and carbon fiber elements.
For the version equipped with the Allegerita package, the ultralight technical fabric “Corsa Tex by Dinamica” replaces wool, aiming to reduce weight and improve support. This alternative maintains the visual effect of the stripes, giving a style more focused on the racetrack.
Impressive hybrid power of 920 hp at the heart of the Temerario
The base model of the Temerario is equipped with a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, entirely developed by Lamborghini, which reaches an impressive 10,000 rpm. This engine produces 800 horsepower between 9,000 and 9,750 rpm. When combined with three electric motors, the hybrid system delivers a total power of 920 hp. This configuration allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h in 7.1 seconds, and a top speed of 343 km/h.
Still on the mechanical side, the Temerario adopts a new tubular aluminum chassis, which provides greater torsional rigidity by more than 20% compared to the previous model. Weight-saving engineering and advanced aerodynamics ensure exceptional driving precision, both for use on public roads and racing circuits. The “Temerario Ad Personam” demonstrates how Lamborghini’s cutting-edge technology can be integrated into customization, elevating Italian craftsmanship to new heights.
Lamborghini CEO highlights individuality as a pillar of the brand
Stephan Winkelmann, president and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, highlighted the importance of individuality in the company’s vision. “At Lamborghini, exclusivity is not just defined by performance, but also by our ability to create cars that reflect each customer’s individuality and vision,” he said.
Winkelmann added that Temerario Ad Personam represents the maximum expression of the brand’s personalization philosophy. He emphasized how advanced engineering, Italian craftsmanship and almost limitless customization possibilities come together to create a truly unique interpretation of the latest supercar. For the CEO, each Lamborghini, through the Ad Personam program, can become a unique reflection of its owner, remaining faithful to the company’s design DNA, technological innovation and performance values.
A new chapter for the supercar: luxury for the experienced driver
The Temerario Ad Personam marks a turning point in the definition of luxury for Lamborghini. While the brand’s previous models captivated with their “brute ferocity”, this new supercar offers a different proposal. The impressive power of the twin-turbo V8 engine, which reaches 10,000 rpm, is elegantly enveloped by the sophistication of Italian tailoring. This combination of overwhelming power and supreme intelligence coexists brilliantly, transcending the mere quest for speed. The Temerario Ad Personam appears as true luxury — a “couture suit on wheels” —, a vehicle that is aimed at a more mature and demanding audience, which values the art of customization as much as pure performance.
