Pearl Abyss has released version 1.16 for the game Crimson Desert, an update now available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players. This version implements a complete overhaul of the game’s trading system and the way users accumulate wealth.
The game universe was expanded with the introduction of 133 new points for exchanging goods. These commercial establishments are not immediately accessible, but are progressively unlocked as players complete specific missions.
The commerce model is now smarter and more adaptable. Explorers who venture into dangerous or difficult-to-access regions will find merchants willing to pay higher prices for goods. However, supply and demand dynamics have deepened: purchase prices will decrease if many identical items are sold in the same location, encouraging diversification and exploration of different markets.
More profit opportunities and new tools for players
Earning currency within the game has become more accessible and interesting for participants. There was a significant increase in overall sales profit and prices at designated trading points were quadrupled. Additionally, player wagons now remain available after deliveries to these key locations.
To add variety to commercial transactions, the title incorporates 24 new high-value products. Logistics has been improved with the distribution of seven new wagon workshops across the map, functioning as strategic stopping and cargo management points.
The graphical interface has also undergone improvements. The main map now has an exclusive tab dedicated to Commerce. Through it, you can easily view cart routes, check average market prices and apply filters to identify the most suitable establishment for your products.
Banking system changes and general fixes
Innovations are not just limited to the store sector. The banking system has received an update, including a new Securities Store, where it is possible to convert investments into gold bars or purchase high-rarity items.
Update 1.16 also features dozens of fixes designed to improve the overall experience. Improvements were made to combat combos, more realistic reactions from wild animals and the resolution of missions that were prevented from progressing. For those playing on PC, the game now supports AMD FSR 4.1 technology.
