The highly anticipated EA SPORTS Madden NFL 27 was made available globally on August 13, 2026 for multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC and mobile devices. For the first time, the game also arrives on Apple Arcade. - The Superstar experience has been enhanced, with the new GOAT Career Journey that integrates with College Football 27’s Road to Glory, adding three new playable positions (tight end, edge rusher and free safety). Deeper, position-based skill trees unlock new career options as your legacy score increases.
- Authentic NFL physicality is replicated in the new WR vs. DB matchups, with realistic hand fights, shoving, and leverage in pressing, releasing, and catching. Time-based reception delivers contested results directly into the player’s hands.
