The game Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) had new details revealed in a gameplay video leaked by leaker Cyberleek, shown on August 23, 2026. The recording shows a plane flying over the city of Vice City at night, bringing never-before-seen images of the virtual environment. Less than two minutes long, the material emerged after a poll on the leaker’s website, which had already released scenes from gas stations the day before.

These files are part of a sequence of unauthorized disclosures of the game, which began on August 18, 2026. To date, the company Take Two, responsible for the title, has not identified the authors of the leaks, which suggests that new publications may occur. The official trailer for the game, however, is scheduled for August 27, 2026, with the official launch scheduled for November 19, 2026.

New recording shows night plane flight over Vice City

The most recent gameplay clip, released by Cyberleek on August 23, 2026, shows the character Jason commanding a stunt plane. Vice City’s night scene is impressive due to its large rendering distance, the intense flow of vehicles on the streets and the detailed lighting of the buildings. During the flight, the player also switches radio stations, revealing traditional options from the series.

As the aircraft flies over a water area, a “Large Bass Fishing Spot” notification appears on the screen. This detail suggests that the GTA 6 map will include points dedicated to hunting and fishing for animals, a feature that harks back to the success of Red Dead Redemption 2.

A poll was launched on the Cyberleek website, offering the public the chance to vote on the theme of the next video, with options such as the beach, nudist community and strip club. However, sending money to leakers is not recommended, as such a practice is considered illegal commercialization of copyrighted material.

Previous leaks show fuel system and “Wasted” screen

Previous recordings have already suggested the presence of a fuel system in GTA 6, requiring players to fuel their vehicles while exploring the Leonida region. When Jason gets behind the wheel, he displays two indicators on the screen: one for the gas level and the other for the car’s general condition.

The August 23, 2026 leaks detailed this system with remarkable realism. In one scene, Jason comes across a conspiracy theorist storing gasoline in a tub in the back of a pickup truck. After the protagonist takes control of the vehicle, the non-player character pursues Jason, claiming to be the victim of government robbery. The sequence culminates with a collision that causes a large explosion due to exposed fuel, and for the first time, the iconic “Wasted” screen appears, known in GTA 5 as “F*** You!”.

Possible appearance of Lucia Caminos in future releases

Previously, the belief was that Cyberleek only had access to a part of the campaign focused on Jason, justifying the lack of other characters. However, the most recent video ends with the message “Return to Lucia”, indicating that the creator of the recordings has progressed in the story, potentially freeing the co-protagonist to be played.

Since the first trailer for GTA 6, released in December 2023, speculation was that the campaign would begin with just Jason, with Lucia starting the plot behind. If this theory is confirmed, the new leak gains relevance, as it suggests that the person responsible for filming may have access to a much broader version of the game, or even the final product.

Cyberleek speaks out against the end of physical gaming media

A new watermark inserted into the video reiterates Cyberleek’s previous manifesto against the video game industry. The group claims to be acting against companies that “want to take away their resale rights”, in a clear allusion to the recent decisions by PlayStation and Rockstar Games to discontinue the sale of games in physical format.

“The peaceful path has led us nowhere. This has been planned by them for years. It’s time to fight: now or never,” the message states. The discussion about physical media is relevant, considering that GTA 6 will be released in the “code in a box” format, where the physical packaging will only include a code to download the digital version of the game.
