One of Sony’s next major exclusive releases for the PlayStation 5 is “Marvel’s Wolverine”, a new action adventure starring the iconic superhero Wolverine, scheduled to arrive in the coming weeks.

The title has a release date set for September 15th and promises a wide range of features and accessibility options, as revealed in an unreleased trailer.

The released material, accompanied by a new post on the official PlayStation blog, offers an in-depth look at the gameplay, showing several exclusive techniques and abilities that players will be able to unlock to strengthen Logan’s combat capabilities.

The so-called “adaptations” serve to improve the character of Wolverine himself, with improvements in attributes such as Rage control, the ability to defend against attacks and resistance to projectiles. These characteristics are typical elements found in action genre games.

The trailer also explores optional activities and collectibles present in the game, such as the “Nightmare Door” challenges, bottles of whiskey and components to make new clothes. Purchasing new outfits also grants additional maximum health bonuses.

As already announced, “Marvel’s Wolverine” will include the New Game+ mode and will feature a Photo Mode, which will be made available on launch day through an update. It will also be possible to revisit previously completed missions at any time.

Finally, the video dedicates space to accessibility options, many of which are already known from other titles developed by Insomniac Games.

A wide variety of tools have been implemented to make the game accessible to visually and hearing impaired players. In addition to simplifying the execution of complex commands and allowing the customization of difficulty parameters, the inclusion of so many features demonstrates a significant commitment to the diversity of players, allowing a wider audience to enjoy the experience in a personalized and inclusive way, something increasingly valued in the industry.

The feature set also includes content filters, which allow the player to control the display of elements such as explicit language, scenes of blood and graphic violence, offering the option to disable profanity, details of bleeding and dismemberment.
