Rockstar Games captured 26 minutes of unreleased Grand Theft Auto VI sequences directly on a PlayStation console across Vice City. This newly revealed gameplay footage emerges more than a full decade following the official debut of the prior entry in the open-world franchise.

Technical capture displays seamless transit and dense urban corridors

The 26-minute continuous recording traverses coastal zones and bustling commercial districts of Vice City by maintaining direct camera passages from outdoor sidewalks into interior spaces while vehicles navigate packed multi-lane roads bordered by massive structural developments without any camera cuts across the city’s main avenues.

  • Urban road sections feature continuous traffic flow among high-density building structures across Vice City.
  • A dynamic lighting engine calculates and casts moving shadows corresponding to solar progression over Vice City edifices.

Developer Rockstar Games arranged the technical demonstration to evaluate the title’s real-time graphical performance running directly on PlayStation console hardware. The test concluded without cuts.
