Publishing partners Dragami Games, Nada Holdings, and JP Universe officially announced Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back for the PlayStation 5 console, setting its commercial debut for 2027 while scheduling an initial public test build between September 17 and September 21, 2026, at the Tokyo Game Show convention in Chiba, Japan. Juliet reappears with expanded combat powers in the city of San Romero, which authorities rebuilt into a movie center named Jaredwood. A rogue director traps the heroine inside a macabre film environment during the campaign. She must fight creatures from the Corrupted Realm alongside allies to unravel the local conspiracy.
The game functions as a direct continuation of the franchise on modern hardware. Participating companies plan to share additional operational specifics before the product reaches retail distribution in 2027.
