Pay attention to the new postponed schedule of Mega-Sena 2940 worth R$ 100 million this Thursday

Caixa Econômica Federal will draw this Thursday, November 13, 2025, the Mega-Sena contest 2940 with a prize estimated at R$100 million. The value accumulated after no bettor hit six tens in competition 2939, held on Tuesday, 11th. The event takes place at 9pm at Espaço da Sorte, on Avenida Paulista, in São Paulo, with live broadcast on Caixa’s official channels.

Betting remains open until 8pm at accredited lotteries, the Loterias Caixa website or app. A minimum bet costs R$6 and allows you to mark six numbers between 01 and 60.

Time changed to 9pm

Caixa has adjusted the Mega-Sena draw time to 9pm since October 2025. The change aims to expand the audience that follows the live broadcast on YouTube and Facebook. Previously, competitions took place at 8pm.

The change did not impact the betting deadline, which remained at 8pm.

How to enter the 2940 contest

Players choose 6 to 20 numbers on the wheel. A simple bet with six tens costs R$6. Each additional number progressively increases the value.

• Bet with 7 numbers: R$42
• Bet with 10 numbers: R$945
• Maximum bet with 20 numbers: R$232,560

Official pools allow the cost to be split between 2 and 100 participants, with a minimum quota of R$6.

Accumulation reached R$100 million

Contest 2939 drew numbers 22-31-33-37-42-49 and had no winner. On the corner, 77 bets received R$34,767 each. On the court, 4,159 winners took R$1,061 each.

The main prize represents 43.35% of the proceeds allocated to the prize. With no winner in the maximum bracket, the total amount was automatically transferred to the next competition.

This is the 13th consecutive accumulation recorded in 2025.

Digital options have gained momentum

Online betting corresponds to around 20% of the total activity in 2025. The Loterias Caixa portal requires registration and accepts PIX, card or Caixa account balance. The minimum value per online transaction is R$30.

The application allows digital prizes until 8:30 pm, half an hour after individual bets close.

Odds and Prize Ranges

The chance of hitting all six tens with a single bet is 1 in 50,063,860. With 15 numbers marked, the probability increases to 1 in 211,761, but the cost reaches R$17,517.50.

In addition to the Sena, the Mega-Senaawards quina (five hits) and quadra (four hits). The remaining amount of the prize pool accumulates for special contests, such as Mega da Virada.

Reward Streaming and Redemption

The draw takes place with a popular audit and representatives from the Ministry of Finance present. The numbers appear immediately on the lottery.caixa.gov.br website and in the application.

Prizes up to R$2,112 can be claimed at lottery outlets. Larger amounts require attendance at a Caixa branch, with income tax of 13.8% withheld at source. The redemption period is 90 days.
