The Brazilian team faces Tunisia this Tuesday (18), at 4:30 pm (Brasília time), at the Pierre-Mauroy Stadium, in Lille, France. The game marks the end of the FIFA Date of November 2025. Coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed the lineup without defender Gabriel Magalhães, cut by a muscle injury to his right thigh.

Gabriel was injured during the 2-0 victory over Senegal, on Saturday (15), in London. Exams carried out on Sunday (16) confirmed the problem, which takes him out of his last appointment of the year. Éder Militão will be the starter alongside Marquinhos in defense.

  • Immediate substitution occurred in the 19th minute of the second half against Senegal
  • Wesley replaced Gabriel in the previous friendly
  • Injury occurred during a tackle in the final stage of the game in London

The Italian coach chose to maintain the base that beat Senegal, with adjustments only in the defense.

Team confirmed by Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti released the full lineup during scouting training at Lille’s CT, this Monday (17).

The starting lineup will be: Alisson; Danilo, Éder Militão, Marquinhos and Wendell; André, Bruno Guimarães and Lucas Paquetá; Raphinha, Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo.

The main change occurs in central defense. Militão forms a pair with Marquinhos, while Fabrício Bruno remains the first option on the bench.

Gabriel’s absence alters planning

Gabriel Magalhães had started the last two friendlies as a starter.

The Arsenal player participated in the 90 minutes against Morocco and played in the game against Senegal until he was injured.

The injury prevents him from completing the sequence of four consecutive games for the Seleção in 2025.

Militão, recovered from a previous injury, returns to the starting lineup after being left on the bench against Senegal.
