Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos used Wednesday’s episode of “Live With Kelly and Mark” to joke about an annoying habit of daughter Lola during her recent visit to Nova York. The young woman, who moved to Londres after graduating in 2023, returned to the city to watch her brother Joaquin’s debut on Broadway and spent a few days at her parents’ house.

The matter came to light when Ripa said that Lola had left the city after a week of staying. “We all had dinner together outside on Tuesday night, and we were all sneezing and coughing. Lola said, ‘I infected all of us,'” the host recalled. But the real discomfort came after discovering the state of her daughter’s room.

Ordem in the bedroom causes parents concern

Ripa described the scene found in the dormitory as chaotic. “Did you happen to go into Lola’s room last night?” she asked Consuelos. “That was crazy. Foi crazy what was going on in there.” The presenter confirmed the mess and his reaction upon seeing the state of the environment. Consuelos said he looked at his daughter and asked why her clothes were scattered everywhere.

The situation created a moment of humor between the couple during the live broadcast. Ripa expressed the hope that Lola would take advantage of the week at home to organize his room. “I understand that, but I was hoping that at some point she would go to her closet and take some of these clothes with you or donate something,” she said. Ripa asked her daughter to clean her room every night for a week.

Consuelos tries lessons on responsibility

Mark Consuelos used the mess as an opportunity to talk about responsibility with Lola. Ele reported that he told his daughter that she would need to control her habits so as not to create future problems. “What I said to her was something like, ‘You’re going to be responsible for younger children, theoretically, at some point. Então, you need to control this, or you’re going to end up raising a lot of them,'” he said.

Lola’s response to his father demonstrated a sense of humor and timing. Segundo Consuelos, she looked at him and asked, “Dad, it’s 6:30 in the morning. Is Você talking to me about my children?” The presenter joked that he responded by remembering that there were no children yet, but that eventually she would have to resolve the issue.

Histórico contradicts current behavior

Ripa brought evidence from the past to challenge Lola’s current behavior. The presenter revealed that her daughter had received the Aluna Mais Limpa award for three consecutive years during her school career. “The teachers at school made you organize other students’ desks and lockers because you were the cleanest student,” Ripa recalled. The contradiction between the old behavior and the current mess generated laughter in the studio.

Apesar criticized the state of the room, both parents expressed joy at having Lola back home. Ripa highlighted the joy that his daughter brings to the family environment. “Ela is a joy, this child. She enters a room and everything becomes more fun,” said the presenter. Consuelos completed the thought with a playful tone.
