Woman arrested after attacking hairdresser in salon in western SP

A 27-year-old woman was arrested by Polícia Militar after stabbing hairdresser Eduardo Ferrari in the back during service at a beauty salon located on Marquês Avenue in São Vicente, Barra Funda, west of São Paulo. The suspect confessed to the attack motivated by dissatisfaction with a hair service carried out weeks before the incident.

Funcionários and the establishment’s security guards contained the attacker until the corporation arrived. Secretaria of Segurança Pública registered the case as bodily harm, threat and self-harm in the 91st Distrito Policial. The injured professional is not at risk of death and the salon has temporarily suspended its services.
