A new line of Vans products, called ‘Kpop Demon Hunters’, will hit storefronts and e-commerce in the coming summer months with a special detail. The collection brings a striking inspiration to “Golden”, the theme song from a successful animated film.

The collection includes the brand’s famous Old Skool sneakers, which are redesigned in a golden hue, in a clear homage to the song “Golden”. This song is not only a hit, but it also stands out for being the first K-pop song to win an Oscar in the Best Original Song category, a significant milestone for the genre.

This union between Vans and Netflix’s animated production is the second of its kind, celebrating the first year of the feature film. At the end of last year, a first line of products had already been launched, with prints of beloved characters such as the girl group HUNTR/X, the loyal guardians Derpy Tiger and Sussie, and the antagonists of the demonic boy band, the Saja Boys.

The arrival of this new Vans collection is part of a series of dozens of partnerships signed to celebrate the film’s one-year anniversary. Recently, Lego introduced new kits based on Derpy and Sussie Bird. Other brands also revealed products today, such as fashion and singing dolls from Mattel, the Saja and Derpy Tiger Furblets from Hasbro, as well as items from Squishmallows and a Derpy Tiger stuffed animal from Jazwares.

Global company Bemyfriends, specializing in fan merchandise, also marks its first anniversary with the opening of a second official pop-up store for ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’. This traveling store will tour several global metropolises throughout the year, such as Seoul, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Taipei, Frankfurt, Dubai, Los Angeles and Tokyo. Additionally, Korean skincare brand Annua deepens its partnership with the ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ universe, launching a new skincare line and the “Gonna Be Glowin'” campaign.

New products from the “Kpop Demon Hunters” line will be revealed later this week. The Vans “Golden” collection is now available for enthusiasts to browse, offering fans the chance to purchase the special items.
