The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) ordered the recall of several batches of creatine and other IDNLABS brand supplements. The decision, taken last Friday (19), aims to protect consumer health by immediately suspending the sale, distribution and use of affected products throughout the national territory.

The measure was adopted after identifying several flaws in the items analyzed. Among the problems found, the regulatory agency pointed out that some products had a lower quantity of ingredients than declared on their packaging, while others had recommendations for use that went beyond the limits allowed by current legislation. In addition, unauthorized advertising claims were observed, which could mislead the consumer about the benefits or composition of the supplements.

Anvisa’s determination covers different categories of IDNLABS supplements, with specific batches that are prevented from being sold. The agency emphasizes the importance of consumers checking batch numbers before purchasing or using these products.
