The announcement of the tour extension comes during a period of great success for Ella Langley. After a remarkable performance at the ACM Awards, where she won all seven awards for which she was nominated, and with two recent victories at the American Music Awards, the artist continues in one of the most dominant phases of her musical career. Her album “Dandelion,” which reached No. 1 and was certified platinum by the RIAA, spawned two of the year’s biggest country hits: the single “Choosin’ Texas,” which went 4x platinum and became the first track by a woman to simultaneously top the Billboard Hot 100, Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts; and the platinum hit “Be Her,” recently recognized as the fastest female solo song to top country radio in the last decade.
Rhett Hobart, Assistant Director of External Affairs and Director of Revenue for the Auburn Athletics Department, expressed the significance of the singer’s arrival. “Welcoming Ella Langley to Neville Arena represents a unique opportunity for Auburn,” said Hobart. He noted that “as one of country’s fastest-rising stars and, notably, an alumna of Auburn University, Ella has an intrinsic connection to this community that gives this event special value. We are proud to collaborate with Peachtree Entertainment to bring her back to The Plains and provide our students, fans and community with an unforgettable live entertainment experience, while enhancing Auburn’s position as a premier hub for events in the Southeast region.”
This Ella Langley concert series marks the fourth attraction announced within the ongoing partnership between the Auburn Athletics Department and Peachtree Entertainment.
