Caixa Econômica Federal released a new estimate for the 2026 Quina de São João premium, increasing the amount. Initially estimated at R$250 million, the value now reaches R$260 million for the winner who matches the five numbers in the draw next Sunday, June 28th, scheduled for 2pm.
This event, referring to competition number 7051, will take place at Espaço da Sorte, located at Avenida Paulista, 750, in the city of São Paulo. The deadline to register bets ends one day earlier, on June 27th, at 10pm. Interested parties have the option of playing their games at any accredited lottery outlet, through the Loterias Caixa app or through the official Loterias Caixa website.
It is important to note that daily editions of Quina will be paused until the special draw is completed.
Rules for participating in the special draw
An individual bet on Quina costs R$3. To play, you need to select between 5 and 15 numbers from the 80 on the card. There is also the alternative of allowing the system to choose the numbers automatically, a feature known as Surpresinha.
The prize is awarded to whoever gets 2, 3, 4 or 5 tens in the draw. A fundamental characteristic of Quina de São João, common to other special Caixa Lottery competitions, is that the prize does not accumulate; This means that the total amount is necessarily distributed at the time, increasing the chance of rewarding a greater number of bettors in secondary brackets. If no one matches the five main numbers, the prize will be distributed among those who guess the next range, with four numbers, and so on, according to the specific rules of the sport.
For those who prefer to play in groups, Quina pools have a minimum value of R$15. However, it is stipulated that the cost of each individual share within the pool cannot be less than R$4.
