The automaker Toyota revealed this Tuesday (23) the arrival of the SUV bZ4x, its first 100% electric vehicle, to the Brazilian market. The launch will take place in an exclusive version with all-wheel drive, prioritizing high performance. This top-of-the-line model will be sold for R$419,990 in the country, marking a strategic step for the company towards complete electrification on national soil, initially with a limited batch of just 99 units for a select audience.

The new sports utility vehicle incorporates two electric motors, each positioned on an axle, ensuring full four-wheel drive. The combination of engines generates a power of 343 horsepower and a torque of 34.2 kgfm. This robust configuration allows the car to reach 100 km/h from a standstill in just 5.5 seconds.

Inside, the vehicle has a 14-inch central screen for the infotainment system, with compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems. Complementing the experience, a fully digital instrument panel modernizes the cabin.

Aesthetically, the bZ4x features a body with angular lines and LED headlights with a sharp profile, integrated into a closed front grille. At the rear, an uninterrupted light strip runs across the trunk lid, highlighting the SUV’s modern look.

For the driver’s safety and convenience, the vehicle offers a comprehensive assistance package. Included are systems such as automatic braking in emergency situations, lane keeping assistance with active steering wheel correction and adaptive cruise control, which adjusts the distance to the vehicle in front. In addition, it has blind spot sensors, rear cross-traffic alert and a set of cameras that provide 360-degree vision.

The estimated autonomy for the bZ4x, according to Inmetro measurements, reaches up to 361 kilometers, driven by a 73.1 kWh capacity battery. For quick recharging in direct current, the system accepts up to 150 kW, while in alternating current, recharges accept limits of 11 kW or 22 kW.

The car’s dimensions include 4.69 meters long, 1.86 meters wide and 1.65 meters high, with a wheelbase of 2.85 meters. The trunk volume, in turn, offers 452 liters of capacity.
