Rockstar Games has released complete information about the versions of Grand Theft Auto VI, as well as incentives for those who secure the game in the advance purchase phase. The pre-sale period will begin at midnight on June 25th, according to local time in each region, while the launch is scheduled for November 19th on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms.

In addition to the standard version, enthusiasts will be able to purchase the Ultimate Edition, which offers a range of exclusive content that promises to enrich the journey of protagonists Jason and Lucia. Those who purchase any edition before November 20th will also receive, at no additional cost, the Vintage Vice City Pack, full of historical references from the franchise.

Vintage Vice City Pack rescues fans’ affectionate memories

Any player who pre-purchases or purchases Grand Theft Auto VI in advance will be awarded the Vintage Vice City Pack. This set was developed to celebrate the golden age of the series’ most iconic city, offering immediate immersion into the game’s nostalgic atmosphere.

The package includes the classic 1955 Vapid Stanier sedan, which can be stored in a private garage strategically located near the beaches of Ocean Beach. This location also has a weapons locker and space to store illicit items before they are sold, providing a strategic operational base from the beginning of the adventure.

Complementing the experience, Jason and Lucia will receive outfits and hairstyles inspired by the extravagant aesthetic of the 1980s. The set also adds a tropical print for several weapons, a direct homage to Tommy Vercetti’s striking look in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, strengthening the connection with the rich history of the game’s universe.

Ultimate Edition elevates the experience with exclusive sports vehicle

The highlight of the Ultimate Edition is the Grotti Cheetah, a 1995 sports car that recalls classic models from the 1990s. This vehicle, with exclusive paintwork, will be released in more advanced stages of the campaign, guaranteeing a significant reward for progression.

Another notable addition are the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, customized versions of the weapon developed for Jason and Lucia. This equipment is distinguished by special engravings, details reminiscent of the Vercetti Mansion and even a high-performance scope, giving a touch of exclusivity and power to the characters.

The special edition also covers custom variants of the Girardi ES9 and Klose K17 pistols. Each of the protagonists will have access to a customized weapon, adorned with exclusive engravings that tell a little of the story of the adventure, making each item unique on the journey.

Character customization stands out with unique clothes and tattoos

Those who opt for the Ultimate Edition will also have access to a variety of new cosmetic items for the game’s protagonists. Options include exclusive clothing, distinctive tattoos, different hairstyles, makeup and accessories that capture the vibrant style of Vice City, allowing for in-depth customization.

Some establishments will also be accessible only for this version, such as Sara’s Unisex Salon, the Stock 305 clothing store and the Electric Fang Tattoo studio. Each of these locations will offer additional customization options for Jason and Lucia, further expanding the aesthetic possibilities.

Rockstar has additionally confirmed a collection of themed clothing inspired by Macca the Gator, a fictional character from a popular television show in the Leonida universe. This content significantly expands the visual choices available throughout the campaign, allowing players to express their individuality.

More vehicles in Ultimate Edition grant expanded exploration

The Ultimate Edition also provides a series of extra vehicles, strategically distributed across the game map. Among them, the Dinka Enduro motorcycle, the Crest Kayak kayak and the Shitzu Squalo vessel stand out, the latter equipped for maritime exploration and equipped with weapons.

Another relevant inclusion is the Vapid Dominator Buggy, a 1967 model, specifically designed to tackle trails and the most remote areas of Leonida. This model will be stored in an exclusive garage, located in the Watson Bay region, offering a robust option for off-road challenges.

Players will also be able to modify their vehicles in specialized workshops, such as Rideout Customs and One-Eyed Willie’s. Both workshops offer a wide range of parts, custom interiors, and advanced customization options that are not available in the standard edition of the game.

Extra mission and activity content enriches the main campaign

In addition to cosmetic items and vehicles, the Ultimate Edition adds additional content related to the main story progression. Rockstar ensures that these rewards will be integrated into different chapters of Jason and Lucia’s journey, making the experience richer and more varied.

One of the new features is the special mission “Classic Car Collection”, which challenges players to find and restore abandoned classic cars for a local collector. This activity promises to take players to explore different regions of the state of Leonida, revealing scenarios and secrets.

It will also be possible to carry out raids on the PTT Youngin$ gang compound with the aim of obtaining contraband and rare items. According to the developer, these activities complement the main campaign and provide exclusive rewards to Ultimate Edition owners, enriching the narrative and gameplay.

Digital pre-load released days before official launch

Players who purchase the digital version of the title will be able to begin the game’s pre-loading process from November 12th. This way, everything will be ready to start playing as soon as Grand Theft Auto VI is officially available on November 19th.

The physical edition of the game will hit stores on the same release date and will include a download code inside the packaging. This will allow buyers of the physical version to also pre-load the content before the long-awaited official debut of the new chapter in the franchise.
