A photo published by singer Ariana Grande has been making intense waves on social media since last Tuesday (23). The image, which is part of an album posted on Instagram, ended up revealing more than expected due to a loose-fitting dress.
Detail in the social media post becomes a topic among followers
The 32-year-old American pop artist shared an extensive set of content in a single post, including three videos and 17 photographs. However, the third image of the carousel was the one that captured the attention of more than 360 million followers, generating an alert among them.
In the photograph in question, Ariana appears crouched down, petting a dog. Due to the angle at which the recording was taken, the singer’s dress, which was not tight to her body, left part of one of her breasts slightly exposed.
Prevented from commenting directly on the Instagram post, where the celebrity chose to restrict interactions, fans took their reactions to Twitter/X. Many expressed concern, believing that Ariana might not have realized what had happened.
The widespread bet among followers was that the image would be promptly removed as soon as the singer noticed what had happened.
However, Ariana Grande adopted a defiant stance, seeming to reinforce her decision. She not only reposted the image in one of her stories, but also added, a few hours later, an excerpt from a sketch from October 2023. In the video, made with her friend Elizabeth Gillies, the two recreate an iconic scene from the film ‘Showgirls’ (1995), showing that her choice not to delete the image is far from the common reaction of many celebrities who quickly remove similar records to avoid scrutiny.
In the skit scene, Elizabeth observes Ariana during a dinner and expresses, “You have great breasts, they are really beautiful.” Ariana’s response is a simple and direct “Thank you.”
This sequence of events made it clear that the singer did not care about the exposure of the photo, which generated so many comments and buzz on digital platforms.
The original image, which triggered all the repercussion, remains available in the album posted by Ariana Grande on her Instagram profile.
