A billionaire businessman is at the center of a controversial legal dispute, accused of offering a large sum of money to a woman to abandon her marriage. The case involves Michael Steckling, ex-husband of real estate agent Paige Steckling, who claims in his divorce proceedings that the union began to fall apart after the advances of Tamir Poleg, a prominent figure in the United States real estate market.
In the documents presented in the lawsuit, Michael states that Poleg would have promised more than US$3 million, the equivalent of around R$16 million at the current price, for Paige to break up with him and start a new relationship with the businessman. The accusations are not just limited to money; Michael details that the billionaire would also have offered luxury trips, real estate business proposals and even a residence valued at US$1.5 million in Park City, Utah.
The unusual narrative gained international repercussion, seeming to be taken from a movie script due to the complexity and rarity of such allegations in divorce proceedings. Michael accuses the tycoon of having directly interfered in his marriage, maintaining that he and Paige did not consider separating before the businessman’s alleged financial advances and promises.
The connection between Paige and Tamir Poleg would have been established through her work in the real estate sector. Poleg is CEO of Real Brokerage, a recognized company in the segment in the United States. According to the complaint, in January 2025, the businessman would have made an even more explicit offer, committing to cover all of the brokerage’s financial expenses if it decided to end their relationship.
Subsequent developments attracted additional attention. In February 2025, Michael and Paige formalized their divorce. Interestingly, in the same period, Tamir Poleg also separated from his own wife, a fact that intensified speculation surrounding the entire imbroglio.
Despite the serious accusations made in court, Paige Steckling vehemently denies having received any type of payment to leave her ex-husband. The allegations continue to be discussed within the scope of the judicial process, awaiting a definitive decision on the controversial case.
