InZOI launch on PS5 postponed to 2027 due to optimizations
The long-awaited life simulator inZOI, which appears as a strong rival to The Sims, had its launch on PlayStation 5 postponed. The expectation now is that the title will arrive on the console at a different time than initially planned.
inZOI Studio, responsible for development, confirmed that the game will be available for the PS5 in the first half of 2027. This new release window replaces the previous forecast, which pointed to sometime in 2026.
In a statement released on Steam, the team explained that the intention is to create a version for the PS5 that is naturally adapted and fully suited to console players, and not a mere replication of the PC edition.

The developer detailed the main areas in which it is focusing its efforts to adapt to the console environment.
One of the crucial points is the optimization of controls and improvement of the user interface (UI/UX). The company states that, although the current interface is designed for keyboard and mouse, the focus now is on adjusting the control flow so that menus and on-screen elements can be selected and managed comfortably with one controller.
