The Spanish team secured their place by defeating France two-nil on Tuesday, July 14, and will now look to win their second trophy at the world tournament, an important milestone for the federation.
Through stories on her Instagram account, García celebrated her boyfriend’s triumph, sharing her excitement with the phrase: “See you in New York!”
The big championship decision is scheduled for Sunday, July 19, at 4 pm, and will take place at MetLife Stadium, located in the New York metropolitan area.
Inés had previously commented that Yamal, a young promise of Spanish football, had additional motivation for the competition, even before Spain’s participation in the final match was certain.
The enthusiasm of the Spanish player’s girlfriend increased considerably after the announcement that Justin Bieber would be part of the musical attractions at the halftime show of the final.
