Support for Ramon Dino leads Vit Viana to postpone search for pro card to focus on Mr. Olympia By Thiago Lemos

Bodybuilder Vit Viana, on August 7, 2026, after a successful start in competitions, aims to win her professional card. However, she chose to postpone her individual goals in order to fully focus on supporting her husband, Ramon Dino, as he prepares for Mr. Olympia 2026.
With just seven weeks left until the event, known as the “World Cup” of bodybuilding, the 30-year-old influencer decided to pause her own competitions for the next few months. Its intention is to be the fundamental pillar for Brazilian athletes in their quest for a second title in the Classic Physique category, demonstrating the importance of mutual support in high-performance careers.

“I will not compete at this moment”, declared Vit Viana. “My decision, together with my coach, is to wait for the Olympia to end. Our goal is to dedicate our full attention to Ramon, as the focus is now on him, and my role is to offer support. It is preferable that we help each other to avoid the stress of competing at the same time. Although we have a support team, the presence of a loved and close person makes all the difference.”
Being Ramon Dino’s main source of support in all his preparations, Vit modeled himself on his husband’s path to start his own bodybuilding journey. After more than two years of intense training, she made her debut in July, achieving notable results in the amateur category. He won two trophies in the Wellness competition at the Eduardo Corrêa Classic, held in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, and the following week, he secured another title in the same category at the Musclecontest Brazil, in Curitiba, Paraná.
His successful performance in the first tournaments gave Vit the chance to compete in the Mr. Olympia Amateur, an event that precedes the professional Mr. Olympia contests in Las Vegas, United States. However, Vit chose to direct all his energy towards preparing Ramon, who will be on stage on September 25th. Having experienced for the first time the rigorous routine of a competitive cycle, she realizes that she will be able to help her husband even more, especially since she is not facing the same dietary and training restrictions.
“Currently, I’m already in an off-season phase and he’s traveling,” said Vit. “When he returns, Ramon will be in a super strict routine, while I will be more relaxed. It’s advantageous, because when they are both in the cutting phase, shared hunger can be stressful, leading to more disagreements. There are always two sides of that coin.”
Another important factor in Vit’s decision to postpone her return to competitions is the 2027 Carnival. After having paraded this year at the Anhembi Sambadrome, she is confirmed to represent the Barroca Zona Sul samba school again next year. As the celebration will be brought forward to 2027, coinciding with the time of his birthday, preparation for the parade will also need to begin earlier than usual.
“Next year’s Carnival will take place earlier, at the beginning of February,” said the athlete. “The rehearsals for the samba school begin in August, which will be entirely dedicated to this. The technical rehearsals, which are usually in January, will be brought forward to December due to the earlier calendar of the festivities. Therefore, the preparation commitments are already underway.”
Plans for the future and the search for the pro card after Carnival
Vit Viana plans to turn his attention to bodybuilding after Carnival. With the support of coach Guilherme Nunes, husband of Isa Pereira Nunes – Olympia 2024 champion in the Wellness category –, and posing coach André Pajé, she is considering the possibility of competing again in March. Among the targets, the Arnold Classic Ohio stands out, one of the most renowned global events, created by Arnold Schwarzenegger, scheduled to take place between March 4th and 7th next year.
“Our desire was to compete in the Amateur Olympia”, he explained. “I have already participated in tournaments in Brazil, I understand the dynamics, and now I want to face an international competition. I believe that the Arnold Classic would also not interfere with Ramon’s plans, as he does not compete in this event. We will be present every year, so I consider it an excellent opportunity to experience and evaluate the environment. The structure is of a high level, making it a real possibility.”
If Vit competes at Arnold Ohio, she will have the chance to win the coveted pro card, an essential accreditation for athletes who want to participate in the most important international competitions in the sport. The professional card has become her primary objective since she began her journey on stage, but she maintains a realistic attitude towards the future. Only after obtaining it will you be able to aim for higher flights, such as a possible qualification for Mr. Olympia.
“It’s a peculiar sensation”, pondered Vit Viana. “When I started preparing, my only desire was to complete a single preparation. However, after going on stage, I felt that I wanted more, that I was looking for the pro card. I want at least a pro card. As for getting to the Olympia, I prefer to take it easy. Just as I acted prudently now, I believe I need that card. If one day an Olympia happens, who knows?”
In addition to scheduling commitments, the interruption in competitions will be essential for Vit’s physical improvement. After their first disputes, the referees’ main guidance was the need to develop more volume in the lower limbs, focusing on glutes, quadriceps and legs – areas of great importance in the Wellness category. To achieve this goal, she plans to intensify her training, increase her caloric intake and use the next few months off stage to optimize her physique before starting a new preparation cycle. At the same time, his main focus continues to be supporting Ramon Dino for Mr. Olympia, in addition to balancing Carnival activities, before fully resuming his competitive career.
