Severe floods hit the streets of Yuhuan, a coastal city located in Zhejiang province, China, on August 12, 2026.
The intense rainfall was caused by the remains of Typhoon Dolphin, which had arrived in Chinese territory in the previous days. This weather system is seen as the most powerful to impact China this year, even though it lost much of its strength after a journey of more than 6,000 kilometers.
