WhatsApp rolled out the technical capability to link up to three simultaneous accounts on a single mobile device within beta compilation 26.37.10.15 created specifically for the iOS operating system. This new update responds directly to requests from individuals who manage different phone numbers for professional duties alongside personal daily conversations.
The experimental multi-account architecture expands mobile access for phone owners who require multiple active numbers to reach distinct audiences without carrying secondary handsets during daily routines.
Profile switching occurs directly at the top of the interface
Switching between registered phone lines happens through a designated contact label displayed prominently across the upper header of the messaging screen. This setup eliminates any reliance on third-party cloning tools, unofficial parallel software modifications, or complex operating system duplications to rotate accounts on an Apple device. The interface transition functions immediately.

Chat histories and notifications operate through independent storage
The platform maintains all chat conversation histories, incoming alert push notifications, and local backup files in completely segregated data structures for each unique telephone profile configured by the user across the Apple hardware system. Testing remains underway.
WhatsApp has not established any official release schedule or launch window to introduce multi-account support into the general public release for iOS. Engineering teams continue testing the feature within restricted developer channels. The final rollout timeline remains unannounced.
