Achraf Hakimi scored twice and led Paris Saint-Germain to a 3-1 win over Le Havre on Friday, 30 October 2026, at Stade Océane, in the ninth round of Ligue 1. The Morocco international found the net in the first half and added a third goal from a free kick early in the second half. Paris Saint-Germain came from behind after Josh Maja gave the home side the lead.

The match started badly for the French champions. Le Havre, coached by Didier Digard, took advantage of a gap in the visitors’ defence at 18 minutes, when Josh Maja finished a fast counterattack started by Rayan Fofana. The hosts then went close with headers from Ahmed Touba and Amir Richardson on consecutive corners.

Paris Saint-Germain answered quickly. Mika Godts levelled at 26 minutes after a pass from Hakimi, and two minutes later Hakimi himself put the visitors in front after a move down the right with Senny Mayulu.

Josh Maja’s counterattack gives Le Havre the lead

Le Havre came out compact in midfield, looking to win the ball and hit the space left behind the Paris defensive line. That plan had the desired effect on the first real attack of the match. Rayan Fofana ran down the left channel and found Maja in the six-yard area, and the forward beat goalkeeper Matvey Safonov with a low left-footed shot.

The response from Luis Enrique’s side took time to come, but it was clear that the visitors were gaining control. Paris Saint-Germain kept the ball in the Le Havre half to reorganise and push the home side back. Le Havre’s pressing was intense in the early minutes, but it left gaps on the wings during recovery runs.

Godts levels and Hakimi turns the match before halftime

The equaliser came at 26 minutes after a patient move through the middle of the pitch. Hakimi found Godts unmarked inside the penalty area, and the Belgian winger struck with his right foot into the bottom left corner, past Arnaud Bodart.

The lead changed two minutes later on a quick vertical move down the right flank. Mayulu sent Hakimi through, and he cut into the defence before firing home. The referee, François Letexier, checked the goal on the video review system and confirmed that the Paris player was onside.

Le Havre tried to respond with long-range efforts before the break. Djibril Ouziad and Lamine N’Diaye both had shots blocked by the visiting defence, and the score stayed 2-1 for Paris Saint-Germain when the first half ended after three minutes of added time.

Hakimi’s free kick extends the lead after the restart

Paris Saint-Germain returned to the pitch with control of possession and kept the ball high up the field. Within two minutes, Dro Fernández and Maghnes Akliouche were fouled by the hosts as the visitors tried to speed up their transitions.

The third goal came from a set piece at 10 minutes of the second half. Hakimi took a free kick from the edge of the area and drove a firm right-footed shot into the corner of Bodart’s goal.

Le Havre committed several fouls in midfield as it tried to slow the visitors down. Richardson fouled Akliouche at the edge of the box, and the resulting indirect free kick was converted by the visitors.

Paris Saint-Germain kept up the rotation after the third goal. Hakimi came close to a third of his own a minute later, but Bodart made a strong save to deny him in the middle of the penalty area.
