Moderate and regular intake of caffeinated coffee during midlife has a direct correlation with higher rates of healthy aging among women. A long-term survey tracked the eating habits and medical histories of more than 47,000 participants over approximately three decades. The data indicates that women who consumed one to three cups of the traditional drink a day recorded superior performance in assessments of cognitive, physical and mental health after reaching the age of 70.
