A parrot called Luna, who lives in the city of São José do Rio Preto, in the interior of São Paulo, has achieved great notoriety on digital platforms. The animal managed to correctly predict the results of three games of the 2026 World Cup, including a draw, generating astonishment among its followers. The bird’s owner, amazed by the accuracy of the guesses, confirmed that Luna has already made new nominations for the next stages of the championship.
The bird, of the Amazon species, gained prominence after its owner began publishing videos in which she selects flags from the winning teams. So far, the list of confirmed predictions includes victories for teams such as Brazil, France and Argentina, as well as a drawn duel between Germany and Spain. The person responsible for the parrot, who chooses to keep its identity confidential, explained that the bird seems to have a penchant for vibrant colors and that the selection process is completely instinctive.
