PSG’s R$235 million proposal for Ferrán Torres is rejected by Barcelona
Barcelona turned down an initial offer from Paris Saint-Germain for striker Ferrán Torres, worth 40 million euros, equivalent to approximately R$236 million at the current price. The information was confirmed by sources close to the negotiation on August 11, 2026.
The Catalan club’s decision comes a few days after the player himself expressed to the team his interest in a move to the French team. Ferrán Torres, 26 years old, has already reached a pre-agreement with PSG.

Despite the proposal, Barcelona maintains a firm stance in negotiations, seeking a higher price for the transfer of Ferrán Torres. At 26 years old, Ferrán Torres has been part of the Barcelona squad since 2022 and has a contract that extends until 2027. In his last season, the player found the net 21 times in 49 games, surpassing the 19 goals scored in 45 matches in the previous season.
