Wuthering Waves 3.6 introduces new characters, story expansion and technical optimizations
Kuro Games has released the first information about Version 3.6 of Wuthering Waves, called “Lamplight in Mirage, Sword’s Resolve in Heart”. This update is scheduled to continue the main plot of the open-world action RPG, introducing new characters, new weapons, combat challenges and a series of temporary events, as well as significant improvements to players’ quality of life.
The exact release date of the update has not yet been confirmed by the developer, who promised to release the details in the coming weeks.
New stage of the main campaign arrives with expanded plot
The journey in Solaris-3 will continue with the update, which expands the main campaign by adding the chapters “Chapter IV Act III” and “Chapter IV Segue”, deepening the game’s narrative for fans.
As informed by Kuro Games, the new story segments were developed to continue the main plot line, enriching the immersive experience.
New characters Qingxiao and Jingran join the cast of fighters
Version 3.6 will introduce two new playable characters: Qingxiao and Jingran. They promise to bring new dynamics to the battlefield.

Players will have the opportunity to obtain Qingxiao and Jingran through Featured Resonator Convenes, which will be available during the update period.
In addition to the characters, the update will also bring new cosmetic items, such as the “Cloud Flower” accessory for Qingxiao and “Snowpaw” for Jingran, allowing for greater customization.
Combat arsenal is expanded with new weapon options
The update also strengthens the arsenal available to players with the arrival of two new weapons: “Brilliance of the Clouds” and “Liberation a Thousand Times”, expanding combat strategies.
These new additions will be accessible through Featured Weapon Convenes, distributed throughout both phases of the update.
New trials and battle scenarios are added for players
New combat-focused content includes “Echo Calamity Effigy”, “Phantom Echo – Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis” and “Tactical Hologram – Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis”.
These new challenges are designed to offer more options for players looking for a game experience with greater difficulty and tactical complexity, encouraging the exploration of new strategies.

The update will be accompanied by a series of limited-time events that promise to keep players engaged. Among them are the “Resonance Simulation Realm”, the cooperative event “If Dreams Still Reverberate”, “Second Coming of Solaris: Coded Deception”, “The Strings Remember”, “Wuthering Exploration: Fogveil Pagoda”, and the seven-day login event “Gifts of Drifting Mist”.
Optimizations in Echoes management and new sharing functions
Kuro Games has also implemented a wide list of improvements to the game’s quality of life. This includes more accurate recommendations for Echoes equipment, the ability to preview equipment before switching, improved build suggestions, and new Echoes management schemes. These improvements aim to optimize the player’s experience, making resource management more intuitive and efficient.
Additionally, players will be able to unlock new backgrounds for the “Expedition Motorbike” motorcycle as they progress through the main campaign, adding visual flair to customization.
New sharing features have also been integrated, allowing users to display 5-star summons, Gallery content, and the results of completed challenges.
Computer version gains support for NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 technology
The PC version of the game will be enhanced with support for NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Frame Generation technology. According to the developer, this functionality will increase the frame rate per second, while minimizing visual artifacts and the ghosting effect, providing a more fluid and clear graphical experience for players.
The update also incorporates a change in the programming language used in the game’s development. Kuro Games reports that this modification should result in general performance improvements across all supported platforms, contributing to more stable and responsive gameplay.
Additional enhancements increase convenience for users
Version 3.6 adds several other convenience improvements, such as an expanded mailbox to 200 messages, an increased limit on attachments, and a new email collection system, Mail Collection, designed to prevent accidental deletion of important correspondence.
Version 3.6 Resonator and Weapon Summons detailed
For Phase 1 of the featured resonator call-up, players will be able to find “Wind of Transcendence” and “False Promise for Tomorrow.” In Phase 2, the highlighted resonators will be “Where the Sacred Waves”, “A thousand futures reflected in the snow” and “May the lights of the stars be distant”.
The featured weapon summons for Phase 1 will feature “Cloudshine” and “Dwarven Starforged.” In Phase 2, the weapons available will be “A Thousand Times Liberation”, “Ice Burn” and “Star Field Calibrator”.
Kuro Games has announced that the Version 3.6 release date, along with more details about optimizations and new content, will be officially revealed in the coming weeks.
