Xbox Game Pass announces new games in August 2026 with releases and returns
Xbox Brazil confirmed the list of games that will enrich the Xbox Game Pass catalog during the month of August 2026. In total, 12 titles will be added to the platform, distributed between the Essential, Premium, Ultimate and PC Game Pass plans, offering a variety of experiences for subscribers.
First additions arriving to the catalog in August
Two games have been available to subscribers since the beginning of the month. Among them are the classic Heretic + Hexen and Beast of Reincarnation, which makes its simultaneous debut on the service (day one), allowing players to access it on the same day of its official launch. The remaining news will be released in a staggered manner until August 18th.

Arrivals scheduled for the first half of the month
The stream of releases began on August 6th, with the addition of Monsters are Coming! and PowerWash Simulator 2. Both are accessible on Premium plans, with gaming options via the cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC, expanding the choices for those looking for new adventures and simulations.

- Date Everything! (cloud, Xbox Series X|S, portable and PC) — included in Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass plans.

On August 12th, Ball x Pit was integrated into the Premium plan and can be played via the cloud, Xbox Series X|S, portable and PC. This title adds yet another option for platform enthusiasts.

Important news in the second half of August
- Cricket 26 (cloud, consoles and PC) — available on Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass plans.
- Mio: Memories in Orbit (cloud, Xbox Series X|S, portable and PC) — an addition to the Premium plan.
- Sandustry (PC) — in Game Preview and launching day one on Ultimate and PC Game Pass plans, marking its immediate arrival on the service.
To round off the month’s additions, Egging On will be available from August 18th. This game can be accessed via the cloud, Xbox Series X|S, portable and PC, exclusive to the Premium plan. Microsoft continues the strategy of bringing “day one” releases and games in “Game Preview”, allowing subscribers to test titles even before their final release or enjoy them on day zero.
Titles that say goodbye to Xbox Game Pass
Not all news is about arrivals; Some games will leave the Xbox Game Pass catalog on August 15th. Subscribers interested in maintaining permanent access to these titles have the opportunity to purchase them at a 20% discount from the Microsoft store before their permanent removal from the service.
