Even with the preference of keeping its main players, Palmeiras began discussing the transfer of striker Allan with Manchester City on August 21, 2026. Negotiations are ongoing and involve amounts between 35 and 40 million euros, seeking a favorable financial agreement for both sides.
Although the agreement is not finalized, the São Paulo team is now considering the possibility of selling the player. So far, no official offer has been presented.
Striker Allan’s main moves for Palmeiras
In this same transfer window, Palmeiras had already rejected an offer of 30 million euros made by Aston Villa, from England, for Allan. This proposal consisted of a fixed 25 million euros, with another five million in bonuses that would be guaranteed, without depending on specific goals.
However, in negotiations with Manchester City, the striker’s group of agents shows a great desire to proceed with the sale, classifying it as a “unique opportunity” for the athlete’s career.
Palmeiras maintains its stance of not wanting the athlete to leave, as its priority is performance on the field. However, a financial offer significantly higher than expected could lead to the immediate release of the striker, currently considered one of the most valuable in the squad.
Financially, the situation is reminiscent of the sale of Vitor Reis. The previous year, Palmeiras was reluctant to negotiate the defender, but Manchester City presented 35 million euros, equivalent to approximately R$220 million at the price at that time, and the transaction was finalized.
