Streaming platforms enrich their catalogs every month with different productions, and September 2026 will be no different. This period brings a series of new films and series, promising to keep viewers entertained with eagerly awaited titles. The releases include big names and engaging narratives for different tastes.

Arrive in the Amazon Prime Video catalog

One of the most anticipated premieres is “Neagley”, a spin-off of the acclaimed action series “Reacher”, scheduled for release on September 16, 2026. The new production features a robust police plot centered on Frances Neagley, a private investigator from Chicago known for her perspicacity. Played again by Maria Sten, the former military police officer is an expert in identifying and neutralizing threats.

The narrative of “Neagley” begins when a close friend of the protagonist throws himself in front of a train. This event leads the detective to pause her usual corporate cases to investigate in depth what happened, suspecting the involvement of a self-help cult. With the help of Chicago police detective Greyston Holt and cunning conman Jasper Jones, Neagley seeks to uncover the truth behind an organization that preys on vulnerable people.

  • “The Runner”, available from September 2, 2026.

  • “Drawn Together”, scheduled to premiere on September 9, 2026.
  • “The Love Hypothesis,” arriving September 23, 2026.

What’s new in the Apple TV catalog

Apple TV also presents a great new feature: the film “Mayday”, which arrives on the platform on September 4, 2026. The production is signed by the duo Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, known for skillfully mixing action and comedy in previous projects such as “Game Night” (2018) and “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” (2023).

In “Mayday”, the public will follow a thriller set in the Cold War, with touches of humor. Ryan Reynolds takes on the role of Troy Kelly, codenamed “Assassin”, a pilot in the United States Air Force. He needs to eject from his plane in the middle of Soviet airspace around 1987, a period of fragility under the Iron Curtain. Kelly finds support in Nikolai Ustinov, a former KGB agent disillusioned with his reality, played by Kenneth Branagh, who has a great interest in the United States.
