Three drivers separated by just 16 points
Lando Norris reaches the final stage leading the championship with 408 points.
The McLaren driver has a 12 point advantage over Max Verstappen, who has 396, and 16 over teammate Oscar Piastri, with 392 points.
The reduced difference turns any weekend result into a decisive one.
Norris can be champion even if he doesn’t win the race, as long as he maintains a certain margin over his opponents.
Traditional format keeps six drivers highlighted
The FIA ​​follows the usual protocol and selects six drivers for the two main press conferences on Thursday.
The first group brings together George Russell (Mercedes), Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and Isack Hadjar (Racing Bulls), recently confirmed in the Red Bull for 2026.
The second group concentrates all the attention of the season.
Norris, Piastri and Verstappen will answer questions in sequence in the same environment, a common practice when there is a direct dispute for the championship.
