Samsung predicts Galaxy S26 FE and Tab S12 for 2026, but warns of rising costs
Samsung announced that the long-awaited Galaxy Tab S12 and Galaxy S26 FE will be presented to the public in 2026, however, the company has already indicated that prices may exceed initial expectations. This revelation was made by the director of the mobile devices division, Daniel Araujo, during the release of the brand’s financial results.
Araujo explained that the introduction of the Galaxy S26 FE aims to sustain the frequency of launches in Samsung’s portfolio. Although the executive did not reveal specifications about the device, recent speculation suggests that it will come with the Exynos 2500 processor, the same one that powers the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
“In the full Galaxy ecosystem, we will focus our efforts on expanding the range of premium products and simultaneously delivering a new experience for the era of artificial intelligence with the launch of smart glasses later this year,” said Araujo.

Arrival of the Galaxy Tab S12 is scheduled for 2026
The director also informed that the debut of the Galaxy Tab S12 is scheduled for the second half of 2026. Once again, no technical details of the tablet were announced, but leaks indicate that the main improvement will be in the device’s performance.
Regarding values, the executive did not disclose exact figures, but noted that the increase in memory costs compared to the previous quarter put pressure on the company’s profitability.

“At the moment, the vast demand for artificial intelligence servers is causing shortages and driving up the prices of memories for mobile devices,” said Araujo.
“We noticed this situation in the second quarter, with the increase in the price of memories in relation to the previous period impacting our profitability, and we anticipate that this pressure will continue throughout the second half of the year”, added the executive.
Given this scenario, the company focuses its efforts on preserving the sales volume of the Galaxy S26 line.
Samsung’s most important premium smartphone launches for 2026 have already been completed. However, the company plans to use the rest of the year to enrich its catalog with options in different price segments. The Fan Edition (FE) series is generally well received in the Brazilian market, largely due to its excellent value for money.
