Galaxy S26 FE will have its price adjusted at its launch by Samsung
Samsung has officially announced the development of the new Galaxy S26 FE, which will soon join the company’s Fan Edition lineup. According to company executives, the device should be revealed in the coming weeks, but the launch is accompanied by an increase in prices, which remained stable in the two previous generations of the model.
The existence of the device was confirmed by Samsung representatives on different occasions. Justin Hume, from the manufacturer’s South African branch, mentioned the imminent arrival of the device, while Daniel Araujo, vice president of the mobile division, validated the company’s plans on the Android Authority portal, during the release of the most recent financial results.
The big question that remains is the final value of the device. Samsung’s main line of smartphones, the S26 series, has already undergone a price adjustment. Recent reports from Europe indicate that the Galaxy S26 FE will follow this trend, with increases that could reach up to 170 euros, the equivalent of around R$993 in direct conversion.

This price increase is notable, especially considering that Samsung reported a loss in the cell phone market for the first time in the second quarter of this year. The decision to increase the cost of a model that traditionally seeks to be more accessible, despite the technology giant’s recent financial difficulties, could impact consumers’ perception of the value proposition of the FE line.
Expected increase in the values of the new Galaxy S26 FE
Historically, Samsung’s FE series has been known for offering features from high-end Galaxy S models at a more affordable cost. However, this feature can be revised with the Galaxy S26 FE. Leaked information indicates that the 128 GB storage model could be launched in France for 799 euros, approximately R$4,675. The 256 GB and 512 GB configurations would be priced at 899 euros (R$5,260) and 1,099 euros (R$6,430), respectively.
Compared to the Galaxy S25 FE, these values represent an increase of 50 euros for the entry-level version, 90 euros for the intermediate version and up to 170 euros for the model with greater storage capacity.
In the United States, projections are a little more modest, indicating that the starting price could rise from US$649 to US$699, which corresponds to R$3,549, according to Phone Arena.

In the Brazilian market, the line’s trajectory suggests that Samsung tends to follow the price adjustments observed in North America. The Galaxy S20 FE was launched for R$4,499, a price repeated by the Galaxy S21 FE. The Galaxy S22 FE was reduced to R$3,999, the lowest official price in Brazil, but the Galaxy S24 FE rose again to R$5,499, a level that was maintained last year.
Technical details of the Galaxy S26 FE revealed by leaks
Certifications and benchmark test results have already revealed part of the technical specifications of the Galaxy S26 FE. One of the standout aspects could be the 45W charging capacity, which, if confirmed, would surpass the standard version of the Galaxy S26, which has charging limited to 25W.

Regarding performance, the Galaxy S26 FE would have appeared with the Exynos 2500 chipset, complemented by 8 GB of RAM.
Other leaked information indicates that the device will feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, 120 Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1,900 nits. The battery should vary between 4,900 mAh and 5,000 mAh, placing the smartphone at a level of autonomy similar to other large Samsung models.
Furthermore, records made at the Wireless Power Consortium point to a design that aligns with the Galaxy S26 family, with a camera module visually similar to the more expensive models. Expected colors for launch include graphite, aqua green and an option between blue and purple.
