Influencer Adva Lavie, accused of scamming elderly people, is arrested again in California

An influencer, who faces accusations of scamming “wealthy and vulnerable elderly people”, was arrested again on July 28, in California, United States. The woman was free under monitoring with an electronic ankle monitor when she was arrested once again, this time on charges of robbery.

Adva Lavie, also known to her followers as Mia Ventura Shoshana or simply Shana, had been released in March of this year. Her release came after she was accused of six crimes related to men she met through dating websites, which makes the new arrest even more worrying for authorities.

The criminal charges against Mia include two counts of grand larceny, two counts of trespassing for unlawful purposes and two counts of unauthorized use of personally identifiable information, indicating a pattern of behavior in the actions attributed to her.

The 28-year-old model, who works on OnlyFans, would target older men with high purchasing power, found on “sugar daddy” platforms. She is suspected of stealing cash, gold, credit cards and designer items from these victims. The Prosecutor’s Office reported that women are also among those affected by the influencer’s alleged scams. If convicted of the current charges, Mia could face a sentence of more than eleven years in prison.

The influencer, who is of Israeli origin, had her wedding scheduled for June with billionaire Stephen Cloobeck. However, the ceremony had to be postponed due to his ongoing problems with the law, shedding light on the complexity of his personal and legal life.

Adva was previously married to porn actor Edan Ives. In a letter to the judge, Ives described the couple’s lifestyle as unconventional and full of sexual activity, saying “we are an open-minded couple who believe in non-monogamous relationships.”
