Neymar confirmed in Copa do Brasil decision against Remo despite charity auction

The club stated that “Athlete Neymar Jr. will travel this Tuesday to Belém, where he will join the Santos FC delegation and will be available to the technical committee for the match against Remo.”
The player is the central attraction of the 6th Neymar Jr. Project Institute Auction, which takes place in São Paulo on the night of August 3, 2026. The Santos team, on the other hand, leaves for Belém hours before, still in the afternoon.

The expectation is that the athlete will start as a starter under the command of coach Cuca in the game played at Mangueirão, valid for the return of the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil. In the first leg, on August 1, 2026, at Vila Belmiro, in Santos, the teams drew goalless.
