Users of Samsung Galaxy devices, especially the S26 line, are receiving a new feature that promises to improve the multimedia experience. The seventh beta version of One UI 9, released on August 28, now allows the Now Brief panel to display personalized Netflix suggestions directly on the home screen, bringing entertainment together with other daily updates.

Activating this new feature is quite simple. Interested parties should navigate to the Galaxy AI menu, locate Now Brief settings, and then add the popular streaming platform to the list of authorized content sources. After this step, the film and series service becomes recognized as one of the official options for displaying recommendations on the interface.

With the integration, users will have access to a personalized “card” showing top titles and highlights selected based on their viewing history. This convenience allows you to view suggestions directly on the device’s home screen, eliminating the need to open the Netflix app to discover new content.

While the functionality may seem subtle at first glance, it represents a significant advancement in entertainment curation, making Now Brief a more robust tool for discovering new shows. Samsung, with this initiative, demonstrates its interest in expanding the use of the tool beyond routine information, transforming it into a personalized hub that anticipates what the user wants to watch, enhancing the Galaxy AI ecosystem. The partnership with Netflix solidifies this strategy by incorporating one of the largest sources of customized content globally.

It is important to emphasize that this new feature is not limited to participants in the Galaxy S26 line beta program. Integration with Netflix is now available on other advanced Samsung models, such as the foldable Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8, which have already operated with the stable version of One UI 9 since its official launch. This indicates a wider and more immediate distribution of the feature to a considerable portion of the brand’s premium users, showing Samsung’s priority in offering this experience.

The testing program for One UI 9, based on Android 17, has ended for the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus and S26 Ultra models. This movement is a strong sign that the development phase is in its final stages, with the expectation that the definitive update will be released to the general public in the near future.
