The launch of the Redmi 17 4G is approaching, with detailed information about the device appearing on the internet. This time, a new publication has brought to light practically all the technical specifications of Xiaomi’s next basic cell phone, promising a notable difference in battery capacity. The manufacturer, however, has not yet made any official confirmation about the model’s new features.
Details of the impressive battery and screen of the Redmi 17 4G
According to leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Redmi 17 4G will come with a 6.9-inch flat display. The panel must have a resolution of 1600 x 710 pixels and offer an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, ensuring visual fluidity. The big attraction is the 7,500 mAh battery, which significantly surpasses the 5,000 mAh average found in many current smartphones, with support for 45W fast charging.
The device will be equipped with the Helio G91-Ultra processor, a chip compatible only with 4G technology, which continues to be relevant for the entry-level segment. Xiaomi should make the device available with 4 GB or 6 GB RAM options. Furthermore, internal storage can be 128 GB or 256 GB, depending on the configuration chosen by users.
In terms of cameras, the Redmi 17 4G will integrate a 50 MP main rear lens, with an aperture of f/1.8. An auxiliary sensor will also be present, although its specific function has not been detailed so far. For selfies, the front camera will be 8 MP. The cell phone will also be IP64 certified, which offers protection against water and dust, and will come with the HyperOS 3 interface.
Possibility of launching Redmi 17 4G as POCO C95 Pro 4G
Evidence suggests that the Redmi 17 4G could be launched in some markets under the POCO brand, like the POCO C95 Pro 4G, a common strategy by Xiaomi to differentiate its products and reach different audiences. This tactic of renaming devices is already part of the company’s history, seeking to optimize its global presence. So far, Xiaomi has not released the smartphone’s official launch date or which markets will receive the model.
