This is the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G, a device from the Asian manufacturer that promises to intensify the competition against already established giants, such as Samsung and Motorola. The equipment’s biggest difference lies in its 8,000 mAh energy tank, combined with an AMOLED display with rounded edges with 144 Hz refresh rate and support for a fast 45 W power supply.
The bureaucratic process for releasing the product was carried out by the intermediary JM Suplly Chain Management, guaranteeing legal permission for sales in all regions of the country. This strategic move highlights a change in the Chinese brand’s stance, which has historically maintained a timid participation in local retail, but is now accelerating the adaptation of its portfolio to the requirements of Brazilian authorities.

Even with the green light from the regulatory body, consumers will need to wait a little longer. The company’s mobile division officially informed that there is still no defined schedule for the commercial debut of the equipment on shelves in Brazil.
To establish a financial parameter, the model made its debut in the Indian market with a price tag set at Rs 27,999. Converting this amount to Brazilian currency, without considering import taxes, the cost would be around R$1,490.
It is important to contextualize that the manufacturer is part of the giant Transsion Holdings, an Asian conglomerate that also controls companies such as Itel and Infinix. The latter already has an established base in the national territory thanks to an operational agreement with Positivo. In addition to the device focused on autonomy, the Brazilian agency also recently certified the Tecno Spark Go 3, aimed at the entry-level segment.

This specification easily surpasses the 5,000 mAh standard found in the overwhelming majority of phones currently sold in national retail. To ensure that the user does not spend hours plugged in, the design includes compatibility with 45 W wall adapters.
