Fans of the Resident Evil universe will have the chance to see imposing statues of Lady Dimitrescu up close and face Albert Wesker in a new exhibition that celebrates the horror franchise’s 30th anniversary.
The curiosity of meeting the characters Leon Kennedy, the giant vampire Lady Dimitrescu and the villain Albert Wesker in life size will be satisfied for visitors in Japan. The exhibition, titled “The World of Resident Evil – 30th Anniversary”, will open its doors in Tokyo.
This immersive experience will allow attendees to explore the rich history of the series through exclusive videos, behind-the-scenes production materials and the opportunity to purchase collectibles, as well as take photos alongside the full-scale sculptures.
Key Legendary Figures and Monsters on Display
One of the highlights of the exhibition is the presence of the sculpture of Lady Dimitrescu, a notable villain from Resident Evil Village, known for chasing Ethan Winters through the scary castle in the game Resident Evil 8.
Even in a seated position, Lady D reaches an impressive height of 2.90 meters, waiting to welcome those who have the courage to enter the exhibition area.
The great vampire will be in a space specifically designed to make visitors feel as if they had been contaminated by the mutamycete fungus, present in the game, inducing sensations of hallucination.
The exhibit will also unveil a life-size statue of Albert Wesker, allowing aficionados to gaze upon the iconic antagonist in all his splendor, complete with his signature sunglasses.

Wesker will be located in a section dedicated to the creatures infected by Las Plagas, featuring his grotesque army of mutant beings.
A life-size sculpture of Leon S. Kennedy is also in the process of being produced for the exhibition. This way, if the immersion becomes too intense, visitors can look for the cold-blooded hero for a more comforting photo.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to relive memorable moments from the series, delve deeper into Resident Evil’s biological disasters, and explore exhibits highlighting terrifying creatures. The franchise’s heroes will also have an exclusive sector, where fans can meet the protagonists who overcame the most dangerous confrontations.
Additionally, a shop will be available, selling items such as zombie stuffed animals, Licker slippers, an interactive zombie dog, a Mr. Raccoon keychain, pills shaped like ammo cases, and a tofu bath toy styled as a survivor.
The Resident Evil 30th anniversary exhibition will take place at Shibuya Beam in Tokyo from October 30 to December 24, 2026.
Ticket prices for adults start at ¥3,000, approximately US$18, and can go up to ¥13,600 for weekend or holiday tickets, which include access to exclusive bonus content.
While this is an exciting experience for fans, the franchise has already held other in-person events. In February, a synthetic sample of the deadly T Virus, present in the games, was displayed in Tokyo, reinforcing enthusiasts’ immersion in the Resident Evil universe.
