Copa’s 2026 sticker album hits stores next Thursday (30) with an impressive record. Serão 864 players portrayed in the packages produced by Panini, a number that reflects the largest edition in the product’s history. The launch arouses expectations among collectors who, every four years, renew the tradition of putting together pages with photos and data of the athletes who will compete in the tournament.

The anticipation for this edition is particularly high. The Mundial will be played in the Estados Unidos, México and Canadá between June 11 and July 19, 2026, and will feature 48 teams — a significant increase compared to the 32 that traditionally participated. Essa expansion in the number of teams increased the production of stickers. Panini manufactures 11 million units daily to meet expected demand.

Ausências and inclusions mark the Brazilian cast

Seleção Brasileira will have a reduced presence compared to past editions. Neymar will not be on the album, a notable absence among the top names in international football. Rodrygo and Éder Militão have earned space on the pages, despite their current injuries that prevent them from playing in the tournament in the next edition.

The absence of attacker Flaco López also draws attention. The highlight of Palmeiras, who has been called up regularly by the Argentine national team, does not appear in the packages. Essa decision reflects Panini criteria in selecting athletes to compose the final list.

Entre confirmed Brazilian athletes are featured players in the main European leagues. Vinícius Júnior, Gabriel Magalhães, Rodrygo, Bruno Guimarães, Casemiro and Luiz Henrique are part of the cast. Gabriel Martinelli, Raphinha and Estêvão complete the figurine representation.

Estrutura and album organization

The 864 players were organized in order of the ten groups that structure the classification phase. The giveaway allows the collector to track the competition brackets as they appear in the official Copa album. Cada participant selection has between 17 and 19 representatives on the pages, a variation that reflects the size of the registered delegations.

Grupo A brings together México, África from Sul, Coreia from Sul and República Tcheca. México brings 19 players, while Sul’s África contributes 18 names. Coreia of Sul and República Tcheca complete the bracket with 17 athletes each.

Grupo B integrates Canadá, Bósnia and Herzegovina, Catar and Suíça. Canadá presents 18 stickers, Bósnia and Herzegovina 18, Catar 18 and Suíça 19 athletes. Essa distribution maintains balance in the representation of each selection.

Detalhes technical and production

The selection process for players included in the album follows international eligibility criteria. Panini works with national confederations to confirm the athletes who are effectively included in the pre-call lists for the tournament. Mudanças in the squad until the FIFA registration deadline may result in changes to the stickers, although printed editions are fixed.

The production of 11 million stickers per day indicates the magnitude of the logistics operation. Distribuição nationwide will begin shortly after the official launch. Convenience stores, stationery stores, supermarkets and specialized points of sale will receive the packages in limited quantities, typical of the sales model that creates constant demand.

Cada pack contains five common stickers and one special sticker. The unit value revolves around values that Panini will disclose close to launch. Sales occur throughout Brasil, with the possibility of acquisition through authorized e-commerce platforms.

Grupos and international representations

The ten groups that structure the album reflect the new configuration of 48 selections. Grupos C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L and potentially new groupings incorporate the main world teams. Brasil, Argentina, França, Espanha, Inglaterra, Alemanha, Holanda, Bélgica, Portugal and Itália (among others) make up the cast of confirmed stickers.

Representantes from smaller confederations also gain ground. Seleções as Haiti, Islândia, Uzbequistão, Canadá and Jordânia debut or return to Copa albums with their respective rosters listed. Essa inclusion amplifies the geographic and cultural reach of the product.

  • Maior sticker album edition of the story
  • 864 players portrayed on the pages
  • 48 teams participating in the tournament
  • Produção of 11 million stickers daily
  • 10 thematic groups organizing the content
  • Lançamento scheduled for Thursday (30)

Repercussão among collectors

Expectations among fans and traditional collectors are high. Redes social sticker communities are already discussing strategies to complete the album in the shortest possible time. Grupos exchange gains traction on online platforms as launch approaches.

Comparativamente with previous editions, the number of players creates a greater challenge in total completion. Experienced Colecionadores estimate that complete completion will require greater investment than previous editions. The rarity of special stickers maintains the traditional mechanics of searching for more difficult-to-find cards.

Varejistas is already preparing for sales spikes on post-launch weekends. Disponibilidade limited in the first few weeks is a pattern that should be repeated. Lojas indicate the possibility of rationing per customer until stocks are normalized.
