A new leak of Grand Theft Auto VI, known as GTA 6, exposed about 25 minutes of gameplay footage on October 8, 2026. The material was posted by an author using the pseudonym Cyberleek in a 370 MB compressed file called Extended Leek. The clips show the protagonists Jason and Lucia partly or fully naked, along with exploration and vehicle driving mechanics.
In the footage, Jason appears completely nude while moving across the open-world map and during story scenes. Lucia is seen partly undressed from behind on the helipad of a city building. Paul Tassi, a senior journalist at Forbes, reported the publication soon after the file appeared online and said Cyberleek returned with more than 20 minutes of scenes featuring both characters.
Developer menu and tank spawn in the test build
The recording also shows the player opening the developer menu to create an armored battle tank in the scenario at once. Features like this are common in internal builds, where studios check collisions and the stability of the code. The studio behind the game is based in New York.
Other sequences show dirt bike rides and street races in which the driver uses a first-person view combined with nitro boosts. The internal view surprised players, because earlier statements from the company said first-person perspective would not be part of the final product set for release.

Key dates and platforms tied to the GTA 6 leaks
- August 27, 2026: Rockstar Games aired its extended official gameplay preview of Grand Theft Auto VI on Netflix.
- October 8, 2026, at 8:58 a.m. New York time: the Extended Leek package, with 370 MB and a 25-minute video, was published.
- November 19, 2026: official launch date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, the only confirmed platforms.
Take-Two’s legal moves against the Cyberleek group
The release ended a gap of nearly six weeks without material attributed to Cyberleek, whose last confidential post had come out on August 27, 2026. The silence in September led to speculation on social media that the person behind the attacks had been detained by US authorities or had left the activity with money from cryptocurrency schemes.
Take-Two Interactive, the publisher and owner of Rockstar Games, had been taking legal steps to contain the digital intrusions and protect the secrecy of the game’s final production stages. The company had already filed copyright takedown requests and subpoenas, court orders in the US legal system, to force hosting platforms to hand over data that could identify those who extracted the files.

What remains unconfirmed about the build and the launch
Neither the civil identity of the person or group behind the Cyberleek name nor the exact operational flaw that allowed the extraction of a playable version from the company’s servers has been confirmed. There is no official word on whether the first-person scenes and nitro systems come from an old test version or whether players will reach them when the game arrives on November 19, 2026.
Rockstar Games’ official newswire still lists Thursday, November 19, 2026, as the release date. As of October 27, 2026, according to reports, the company had not announced another postponement.
