Mercedes opted for a conservative tire strategy. Isso helped keep the car stable in the final laps, when the temperature rose on the Flórida asphalt.
Recorde history revealed at the press conference
Antonelli only found out about the feat after the test. In the interview, he expressed surprise when informed about the brand.
“Look, I didn’t know. Assim, it’s cool”, said the Italian. Ele celebrated the moment, but avoided projecting the rest of the season.

Estratégia and car performance were decisive

Norris reported a problem with the rear spoiler. Isso forced the Brit to reduce his pace so as not to lose his wing. Piastri, in turn, had consistent pace but was unable to threaten the top two.
The race had few interruptions. Bandeiras local yellows appeared in isolated incidents, but did not change the overall picture of the race.
Próxima stage requires adaptation to the Canadian route
The calendar returns with Canadá’s GP. The street circuit in Montreal tends to require a different set-up, with an emphasis on traction and brakes.
Antonelli plans to use the range to analyze data. Ele wants to come stronger after the success in Miami. Mercedes, in turn, seeks to maintain the positive sequence.
The 2026 season still has many races to go. The Italian, however, maintains the focus-by-stage speech.
